Seven Seas Cultural Exchange is excited to announce a new international exchange package offering Spanish language lessons and cultural activities in Havana, Cuba. We recently visited Cuba to expand our international exchange portfolio and met with a fantastic partner school based in the heart of central Havana who we are working with to offer this unique exchange program to interested students.
The program includes 20 hours of Spanish lessons per week plus your choice of either salsa classes, art classes, photography classes or cooking classes (or all of the above!). Spanish lessons are taught in groups of 4 to 6 people to give you a personalized and hands-on experience by experienced teachers that have previously held University faculty teaching positions. You can sign up for a 2, 4 or 6 weeks program.
Havana is a city that is famous for its history, culture, art deco architecture and monuments (as well as being the birthplace of the Mojito!). Cuba is one of the safest nations in the world for visitors, and, according to the Lonely Planet, there is almost no gun crime, violent robbery, organized gang culture, teenage delinquency, drugs or dangerous no-go zones in Havana.
